What will you resolve to do in 2018?

New Year’s Eve and Day are just around the corner, which means that if you haven’t started thinking about what your New Year’s resolution is going to be, now’s the time to start so you’re ready when the ball drops! Here’s a list of some of the most common New Year’s resolutions, as well as some that we think would be great to consider–

Common New Year’s Resolutions

According to, some of the most common New Year’s resolutions are:

  1. Stay fit/healthy
  2. Lose weight
  3. Enjoy life
  4. Save more money
  5. Spend more time with loved ones
  6. Be more organized
  7. Learn something new
  8. Travel more
  9. Read more

Resolutions that We Think Have Value

A lot of the resolutions listed above are great, but they all lack specifics. When goal setting, being as precise as possible in your goal (and your action plan to accomplish it) are important.

Other goals that we think are worth having include:

  • Spend at least 30 minutes outdoors every day
  • Meditate for two minutes per day
  • Learn more about the mind-body-success connection
  • Improve your profits (you decide by how much)
  • Improve your ability to self-actualize
