You Are Waking Up Multiple Times Throughout the Night
It’s one thing to wake up once to go to the bathroom, only to fall right back to sleep. If you are waking up multiple times throughout the night, though, and are unable to get a full night’s rest, it could be a sign that you’re overworking yourself. Not being able to sleep can be characteristic of carrying around too much stress, and lack of sleep can have major health and psychological consequences.
You Feel On Edge
Another sign that you are running yourself into the ground is the feeling that you’re “on edge.” Maybe you have been snapping at your employees or spouse – maybe stubbing your toe makes you want to burst into tears. If you’re feeling overly emotional, it a sign that you need to relax and take a breather.
You Feel as Though You’re Not Getting Enough Done
If you are working long hours and still feel as though you are not getting anything done, it may be in part because your energy and focus are misdirected.
