Why so crabby?

The most common cause of crabbiness is a lack of oxygen to the brain. Oxygen is necessary to counteract the excessive amount of electrical impulse that surrounds us, vital for stress management.

When the brain is deprived of oxygen, a person gets a headache. The same goes for deprivation of:

  • Adequate rest;
  • Hydration; and
  • Food.

When we deprive our body of the things that we need most, including stress-relief, crabbiness is the result.

Addressing Your Body’s Needs

The best way to remedy crabbiness is to address your body’s needs. This means:

  • Getting enough sleep;
  • Drinking plenty of water;
  • Taking time for ourselves; and
  • Indulging in rest and relaxation.
