Every new opportunity or connection you say yes to adds more responsibility to your existing schedule.
There are side effects that may not be evident at first. Ask yourself if the meetings on your calendar are really necessary? Do you need to attend that conference this weekend that will leave you feeling exhausted on Monday and your kids disappointed that you were not home all weekend?
Going small gets you to the point. It gets you to the one thing that you should be working on. Not the rest of the things you could be working on.
